Senior Analyst, Business and Market Intelligence

EdgeCore is at the forefront of developing and operating scalable, high-performance data center campuses tailored for the next generation of AI and cloud workloads. As we expand our footprint and capabilities, we are seeking a highly motivated, analytically savvy, results-driven individual to join our expanding Strategy team. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in supporting business operations, strategic planning, and decision-making as the company continues to scale. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to gather, structure, and interpret complex data to drive actionable insights. Responsibilities include developing reports and delivering strategic recommendations related to data center development, customer trends, emerging technologies, investment activity, and business performance against operational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain a Market Intelligence Repository - Establish and manage EdgeCore’s centralized market data repository, encompassing both technical and transactional data points. Ensure the database is continuously updated, accurate, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
• Monitor Market Trends and Industry Dynamics - Conduct in-depth market research and ongoing monitoring of industry trends, customer activity, and evolving data center technologies, financial movements, and regulatory developments that could impact EdgeCore’s business. Provide insights to support strategic decisions across Sales, Sales Engineering, Finance, the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and other key stakeholders.
• Drive Operational Performance Analysis and Reporting - Collaborate with the data warehouse and transformation teams to build dashboards and reporting tools that reflect key operational metrics, OKRs, and business performance indicators. Provide insights across all relevant business units.
• Conduct Portfolio and Site-Level Analysis - Evaluate operational performance across EdgeCore’s business and data center sites. Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to inform strategic planning and operational improvements.
• Integrate Market Intelligence with Strategic Objectives - Partner with business units to ensure that market insights are effectively aligned with EdgeCore’s broader objectives. Support the identification of strategic opportunities and areas for differentiation.
• Support Executive-Level Communication and Planning - Contribute to the development of high-impact materials for board meetings, investment memos, investor communications, and executive strategy sessions, ensuring clarity, relevance, and strategic alignment.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in market intelligence, business operations, corporate strategy, or management consulting—ideally in data centers or related sectors.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize complex data from multiple sources to generate insights and drive business outcomes.
• Strong familiarity with the data center and colocation industry and its operational and financial drivers.
• Proven experience working cross-functionally to understand stakeholder needs, deliver actionable analysis, and support the implementation of strategic initiatives.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present findings clearly to senior and executive audiences.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented, with a strong work ethic and a team mindset.
• Flexible and self-directed, with the ability to operate independently across time zones, travel when necessary, and contribute remotely as part of a distributed team.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, with flexibility as business needs evolve.

Compensation & Benefits

• This is a full-time salaried position, including equity compensation and a performance-based annual bonus
• This role requires in-office presence four days per week
• This role is based in downtown Denver, with parking for the successful candidate paid by EdgeCore
• Base salary range is $90,000 – 120,000, depending on experience
