If you’re a Sage Intacct consultant who enjoys demos, presales conversations, and helping clients envision their ideal solution, this could be the perfect next step. This role offers the chance to step away from billable consulting and into a dedicated pre-sales and solution architecture position—partnering closely with the sales team to win new business.


In this role, you’ll work with prospects from the very first conversation, uncover their challenges, design the right solution, and present it in a way that inspires confidence. You’ll still draw on your consulting skills—business process reviews, solution mapping, and deep product knowledge—but without the delivery workload.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with account executives to design, configure, and present complete Sage Intacct solutions
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand business requirements and workflows
  • Conduct business process reviews and align proposed solutions with client goals
  • Create accurate, detailed Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations that clearly articulate the business value
  • Collaborate with consulting and implementation teams to ensure solution success
  • Stay current on Sage Intacct capabilities, industry best practices, and competitive offerings

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Sage Intacct experience in consulting, presales, or solution architecture
  • Strong track record in solution design and delivering impactful demos
  • Consulting background strongly preferred; experience with nonprofit clients is a plus
  • Skilled in business process reviews and mapping workflows to Sage Intacct functionality
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to build trust with prospects
  • Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working remotely

Compensation and Travel

  • Base salary plus commission on closed deals
  • Up to 20% travel for client meetings, conferences, or trade shows
