Observe patients during treatment to compile and evaluate data on patients responses and progress, and report to the treating therapist.
Instruct, motivate, safeguard, and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities, under direction of physical therapist and medical staff.
Secure patients on/off therapy equipment.
Consult/communicate with all therapy staff to discuss and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment.
Record treatment given and equipment used.
Maintain equipment and furniture to keep it in good working condition, including performing the assembly and disassembly of equipment and accessories.
Administer active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, and electrical modality treatments under the direction of a licensed therapist.
Arrange treatment supplies to keep them in order.
Assist patients to dress, undress, and put on and remove supportive devices, such as braces, splints, and slings.
Assist in transport to/from pool and therapeutic delivery for aquatic therapy.
Carry out all therapeutic activities as designed by the clinical staff.
Attend in-services, workshops, seminars, and staff meetings.
Maintain confidentiality.
Provide safe and secure environment for patient.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Certified in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI)
Prefer at least two years experience in Residential Behavioral Rehabilitation Program, or two years experience with disabled population, dealing with cognitive problem or 60 hours of college will be substituted for experience.
