ImpriMed’s key product, the Personalized Prediction Profile, uses artificial intelligence (AI) to predict which cancer drugs may be most effective for each patient before doctors make final treatment decisions. With ImpriMed services, veterinarians make their treatment decisions quickly and with confidence. This AI-based precision medicine approach to cancer care has been used by 398 veterinary oncologists at 288 specialty hospitals in the US and has helped over 10,000 dogs and 1,000 cats with lymphoma and leukemia. With the $23 million Series A round recently closed, the company is actively expanding to other species, different cancer types, and other cancer drugs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Territory targeting and planning; pipeline and account development to meet revenue goals.
Drive trial and adoption of the company’s commercial launches.
Work with sense of urgency and an entrepreneurial spirit in building the business.
Deliver technical and functional presentations to clients including Veterinary Oncologists, Veterinary Nurses and Technicians, Service Line Directors, Practice Managers, and C-level Administrators.
Work closely with the Marketing team to address barriers to adoption and collaboratively develop tactics to overcome.
As part of a team, accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenues and ensure consistent utilization in new centers with a patient-centric approach.
Present detailed reports to Management regarding sales activities and success rates regularly.
Road warrior. Travel within the territory required, up to 80%.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
· ImpriMed is seeking a commercial sales professional to join its team as the Regional Sales Manager, North East, to drive the organization’s evolution from development stage to commercial product use. This demanding and challenging role requires robust and refined skills in selling, listening, and adaptability in a clinical setting at specialty veterinary oncology hospitals or clinics. The Regional Sales Manager will own and deliver the sales execution to drive utilization in the commercial sales organization, collaborating with the commercial team and strategic partners. This position reports to the Vice President of Commercial Operations.
· The primary focus of the role is the execution of the sales strategy. This includes translating the overall strategy into tactical sales growth plans to ensure outcomes and financial goals are achieved. The role will be dynamic and require strong team collaboration. The role requires an individual to strategically target new centers and ensure a positive customer experience in a performance-based culture. A successful candidate will draw on their experience of creating new markets with disruptive technology, with a demonstrated track record of collaborating with strategic partners. Experience launching new product categories “from scratch” at venture-backed companies is highly desired. A thorough understanding is complex selling in business practices, and an in-depth understanding of pioneering medical paradigm changes is highly desired. Early-stage startup experience with strong cross-functional skills is desirable. In addition, a successful candidate will have the ability to build relationships with KOLs and clinically run cases with an “all-hands-on-deck” mentality for tactical sales execution.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
· Either 3+ years as an RVT or CVT working in veterinary oncology or 5+ years veterinary diagnostic laboratory sales
· Experience selling products in the veterinary oncology space is strongly preferred.
· Demonstrated experience and a strong record of success within a startup environment.
· Comfortable with complex sales and multiple stakeholders
· Proven track record of developing commercial strategies for novel technologies.
· Comfortable in a team environment; the multi-faceted nature of the opportunity requires strong collaboration in a fast-paced culture with an ability to pivot through experience.
· Experience collaborating with strategic partners to find a way for both parties to win.
· Analytical thinker who possesses exceptional communication and people skills
LOCATION
The States of PA, OH, NJ, NY, CT, and MA are part of this region. There is a preference for the candidate to live near a major airport. This role will develop current sales and initiate new sales within the assigned region. There will be a specific focus on key markets/cities using a “narrow and deep” approach. Due to the rapid growth of the company, it is likely that the region may be re-aligned in 2026.
