Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished associate to join our division with a specific focus on Private Capital Advisor. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in private equity, with deep expertise in restructuring and emerging trends. This role will play a pivotal role in shaping our restructuring investment strategy and driving portfolio growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Investment Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive investment strategy focused on sectors, including sourcing, evaluating, and executing potential investments.
Identify emerging trends and market opportunities to inform investment decisions.
Due Diligence and Deal Execution:
Lead due diligence efforts for potential investments, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment.
Collaborate with the investment team to structure and negotiate investment transactions.
Portfolio Management:
Actively manage and monitor investments within the portfolio, working closely with portfolio companies to drive growth, operational improvements, and value creation.
Participate in board meetings and provide strategic guidance to portfolio company leadership.
Team Leadership:
Mentor and manage a team of professionals within the Private Equity division.
Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous learning.
Investor Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with limited partners and investors, providing regular updates on portfolio performance and investment opportunities.
Market Research and Thought Leadership:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging disruptors.
Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including industry reports and market insights.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure that all investments and activities adhere to regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Proven track record of successful private equity investments with a focus on sectors.
Strong network of industry contacts and relationships within the private capital advisory community.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to drive portfolio growth and value creation.
Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring.
