Product Engineer – Autonomy & Defense Technology

Backed by leading investors, they are scaling rapidly and need engineers who can blend deep technical expertise with hands-on operational deployment.

The role

As a Product Engineer, you’ll sit at the intersection of software engineering and real-world operations.

You will:

• Build production-grade C++ software for autonomy, navigation, and real-time mapping
• Work directly with clients and partners during demos, field tests, and deployments
• Troubleshoot and adapt systems under real operational conditions
• Act as the technical bridge between product teams and end-users

What we’re looking for

• Strong C++ development experience (production-grade, not just academic)
• experience with robotics (e.g. ROS), autonomous systems, and real-time data processing.
• Background in robotics, unmanned vehicles, or defense systems is highly valuable
• Comfortable working in a customer facing environment
• Problem solver, action oriented, thrives in dynamic environments
• Familiarity with aerial platforms and associated hardware/software integrations
• Comfortable with frequent US and international travel (including field operations)
• Ex-military or prior defense exposure a plus

Location: Remote with heavy travel (US + international)

Compensation: Around $180,000 - $250,000
