Responsibilities
Messaging & Copy – Develop and own product positioning, brand voice, and messaging frameworks. Write clear, compelling, and customer-friendly copy for campaigns, product launches, and ongoing lifecycle touchpoints.
Lifecycle & Retention – Build and execute campaigns (email, push, in-app) that improve customer onboarding, engagement, and repeat usage.
Customer Insights – Distill customer feedback and market research into messaging strategies that resonate with everyday financial needs.
Product & Feature Launches – Partner with Product, Growth, and Compliance to create and deliver high-quality communication plans for new features.
Cross-Sell & Upsell – Develop messaging that connects B9’s offerings (cash advance, banking, rewards) and reinforces customer value throughout the lifecycle.
Performance Tracking – Monitor key lifecycle KPIs, analyze messaging effectiveness, and optimize campaigns based on results.
Enablement – Produce assets, templates, and playbooks that ensure consistent communication across Growth, Sales, and Customer Success.
Qualifications
4–6 years of experience in product marketing, lifecycle marketing, or brand marketing; fintech or consumer financial services background preferred.
Fintech or consumer financial services experience is required.
Proven expertise in crafting compelling product positioning and messaging.
Exceptional writing and communication skills; able to simplify complex financial concepts into clear, relatable, and engaging copy.
Strong understanding of audience segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle best practices.
Experience managing A/B tests, campaign optimization, and performance reporting.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative mindset; comfortable working across Product, Growth, Design, Compliance, and Ops.
