About the Role

FinOps team is seeking a Systems Engineer III to support critical projects that are currently behind schedule. This role offers the opportunity to work within Amazon’s fast-paced environment, focusing on Oracle Application Development, SQL/PLSQL tuning, and Oracle Financials.

Top 3 Must-Have Skills

1️⃣ Oracle Application Development (Forms, Reports, XML Publisher) – 5+ years

2️⃣ SQL & PL/SQL Performance Tuning – 5+ years

3️⃣ Oracle Financials (AR, AP, GL) – 5+ years

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate Linux/Unix environments in a datacenter setting.
• Automate processes using Perl, Python, or shell scripting.
• Develop server monitoring and self-repair automation.
• Troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
• Implement security best practices and efficient operational workflows.
• Deliver tasks on time, demonstrating Amazon’s leadership principles of Ownership and Deliver Results.

Preferred Experience

• AWS technologies knowledge
• Version control tools (Git, SVN, Mercurial)
• Experience in large-scale, distributed server environments
• Knowledge of enterprise networking and storage systems
