The Operations Analyst plays a pivotal role in monitoring shop floor activity, ensuring timely communication with internalstakeholders, and supporting operational planning through data analysis. This positioncombines hands-on operational insight with strong analytical and reporting skills to improve scheduling, resource allocation, and overall workflow efficiency. The analyst provides data-driven recommendations, creates insightful reports and dashboards, and identifiesprocess bottlenecks to optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and track all work-in-progress on the shop floor, providing real-time visibility to relevantstakeholders.
• Communicate operational KPIs and status updates to internal teams and leadership to align production efforts with organizational goals.
• Partner with department managers to optimize scheduling and resource planning, prioritizing based on sales targets, customer needs, and parts availability.
• Integrate procurement data into dynamicplanning tools to deliver accurateparts availability forecasts.
• Develop and maintaindashboards and reports(Power BI, Excel) to highlight performance trends,risks, and operational progress.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce delays, enhance workflows, and improve team productivity.
• Support change management initiatives by documenting operational processes, training staff, and standardizing reporting practices.
• Facilitate coordination between operations, sales, and customer service to ensure effective daily execution and alignment with long-term business objectives.

Qualifications Skills:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or a related industry.
• Experience with production tracking, data analysis, or reporting is preferred.

Skills:

• Strong cross-functional communication and organizational abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, formulas,and basic VBA/macros) and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Power Query, and data visualization tools.
• Understanding of data structures and legacy systems(e.g., FoxPro), including extracting data via ODBC connections.

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with Power Automate and Python.
• Experience with ERP or MRO systems.
• Exposure to cloud platforms or databases such as Azure, AWS, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB,or Oracle.

• Salary Range - $70, 000 - $72, 000
