LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a nonprofit in the Washington DC area looking to hire an Administrative Assistant for the temporary opportunity for the next 3+ months. We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join a collaborative, supportive team. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, excellent organizational abilities, and thrive in a professional, fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established firm and contribute to its day-to-day operations through high-level administrative support.


Location: Washington, DC

Pay: $21-$23 per hour

Schedule: 5 days onsite


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to various departments and team members
  • Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, and meeting logistics
  • Prepare, proofread, and format documents, reports, and presentations
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional manner
  • Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems
  • Order office supplies and assist with inventory management
  • Support special projects and assist with ad hoc tasks as needed


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of administrative or office support experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Professional demeanor and a team-oriented mindset
