Job Overview
This position will be responsible for identifying and closing medical technology and value-added services opportunities within Henry Schein accounts and to grow sales in this category. This is to be achieved through independent account calls as well as working with all Sales Team Members in the territory of responsibility. The Medical Technology Sales Specialist is to achieve annual sales and GP goals established by leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Typically 2 to 4 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.
Preferred Education
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.
Travel / Physical Demands
Travel typically greater than 50% within an assigned territory including local and overnight travel. No special physical demands required.

This is to be achieved through independent account calls as well as working with all Sales Team Members in the territory of responsibility. The Medical Technology Sales Specialist is to achieve annual sales and GP goals established by leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify medical technology and value-added services opportunities in designated territory and actively move these opportunities through the sales process to close.
- Work closely with Field Sales Consultants (FSC), Inside Sales Consultants (ISC) in the designated territory to assist sales team members in uncovering and closing medical technology and service leads in the Independent Physician, Large Group Practice, Urgent Care and Community Health Center markets. Assist in moving these opportunities through the sales process and be responsible for closing the sale.
- Develop strong relationships with key industry partners as identified by leadership. Develop consistent communication with these through email, phone conversation or face to face meetings or co-travel.
- Participate in trainings for and develop expertise in the specific technologies and value added services that are assigned to you.
- Attend and actively participate in all required sales meetings.
- Complete all administrative work in a timely fashion as required by company policy and leadership: Pipeline/Funnel reports, Activity reports, Expense reports and any other reports deemed necessary by the manager or company. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
