About the Role

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our HVAC team in New York. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, a passion for collaboration, and a desire to lead impactful projects from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead HVAC design for tenant fit-outs and infrastructure upgrades, including riser diagrams, equipment layouts, and specifications.
- Develop design criteria and basis-of-design documentation aligned with project goals.
- Produce comprehensive contract documents, including layouts for mechanical rooms, shafts, and risers.
- Design ancillary systems such as UPS, generators, fuel oil systems, and water reclamation systems.
- Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, conduct site visits, and perform punch-list inspections.
- Support project scheduling and resource planning to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in HVAC design and project coordination.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and HVAC design calculations.
- Strong understanding of mechanical codes, documentation standards, and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
