YOUR MISSION:
Support creation and execution of communications strategies for PUMA North America, managing efforts for regionally specific initiatives within the North America media landscape and key global initiatives that are led by the North America based team
Manage day-to-day media relations across consumer, lifestyle, culture, sneaker, fashion, emerging media, social media and business media, as well as cultivate new relationships across verticals
Responsible for creating, editing and developing PR materials and other media tools including messaging, press releases, executive briefs, talking points, media presentations, pitches, among other documents
Organize media interviews and event media attendance and coverage
Work with PUMA spokespeople to prepare briefing materials and organize media interviews as needed
Work closely with the North America account marketing teams to communicate account specific programming and build interest
Manage communications calendar for PNA
Help manage North American external agency relationships and serve as day-to-day contact for owned initiatives
Support with North America corporate and internal communications initiatives as needed
Collaborate with other cross functional partners to build strong working relationships to ensure alignment and successful North America implementation of communications plans
Monitor and measure success using tools and resources available, and deliver goals and KPI’s on a timely basis
Act as a PUMA representative at events
Assist in management of PR budget
YOUR TALENT:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
2-4+ years relevant experience in communications roles
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated success with strategic and measurable communications planning and execution in a fast-paced environment
Proven experience in executing media relations and social media
Proven ability to manage agency relationships
Strong experience with writing press materials
Deep understanding of traditional media, emerging media and social media platforms and trends, with experience leveraging both editors and talent within the channels to drive brand visibility
Experience working with both organic and paid partnerships (as needed) to drive brand awareness and engagement across campaigns, product launches and seasonal moments
Existing relationships with top-tier U.S. media across consumer, fashion, business and lifestyle verticals with a proven record of delivering high-impact results
Creative problem-solving skills, highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
Passion, experience and familiarity with the sports, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer goods space
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, agility and the ability to adapt to change while working in a matrixed organization
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with both global and local partners
