Company Profile:
A multi-location healthcare organization focused on delivering high-quality patient care across multiple states. The company is experiencing continued growth and expansion and requires a strong marketing leader to elevate brand presence, drive patient acquisition, and support new market development.
Position Intel:
This is a leadership role responsible for guiding the full marketing function across all regions. The position oversees specialized teams (digital, SEO/web, creative, patient experience, community outreach, referral partnerships, traditional media, and reputation) and has direct reports including a Graphic Designer.
The role reports directly to the VP of Marketing & Business Development and plays a critical part in supporting organizational growth, De Novos, geographic expansion, and potential acquisitions.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, highly analytical, experienced in multi-location healthcare or professional services, and able to lead cross-functional teams. The position is full-time, exempt, and based onsite at the Des Plaines office, with occasional travel across markets (IL, WI, IN, OH, KY, MI).
Responsibilities:
· Lead development and execution of comprehensive marketing and branding strategies.
· Direct multiple specialized teams (digital/paid, SEO, web, creative, social, reputation, outreach, patient experience).
· Manage annual and quarterly marketing budgets, forecasting, spend allocation, and ROI tracking.
· Oversee all digital and traditional media campaigns and advanced retargeting strategies.
· Guide creative development and ensure consistency across all markets and patient touchpoints.
· Manage vendor selection, media buying, and compliance with HIPAA/FTC guidelines.
· Drive community partnerships, sponsorships, outreach programs, and local referral marketing.
· Oversee brand visibility initiatives across digital and physical placements.
· Lead SEO, web strategy, content architecture, and reputation management programs.
· Build and maintain analytics dashboards; present reports to executive leadership.
· Manage and coach the marketing department; oversee performance, hiring, and development.
Top Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
· 5–7+ years of progressive marketing leadership, ideally in healthcare, dental, orthodontic, or multi-location environments.
· Demonstrated experience across digital, traditional, SEO, branding, patient experience, and referral marketing.
· Strong analytical skillset with fluency in MML, GA4, Looker Studio, and performance metrics.
· Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale budgets.
Desirable:
· Experience with acquisitions, expansion strategies, or multi-state growth.
· Advanced understanding of healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, FTC, Medicaid messaging).
· High competency in creative leadership and multi-channel brand development.
