Position Title: Manual QA

Location: Must be located in the US, in either EST or CST

General Description

As a Manual QA Tester, you will be responsible for testing new and existing features of our applications in both web and mobile applications to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to deliver top tier products.

Day To Day Responsibilities

  • Execute detailed test cases (web and mobile), test plans, test scenarios and updating test cases as needed
  • Strong test plan organization is needed to test 30-45 test cases per day.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using Jira
  • Work in a fast paced environment with a high level of accuracy
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
  • Must be able to meaningfully collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments on a daily basis
  • Able to accurately debug and finding defects while working in a fast paced environment.
  • Validate bug fixes and assist with release verification
  • Contribute to process improvements and testing best practices

Your Experience

  • 2+ years of manual QA testing experience
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on product quality
  • Excellent at working in a high volume enviornment
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Must be a supercommunicator to work with a highly collaborative QA and cross functional software teams
  • Superior documentation skills
  • Experience working with Jira and add on’s such as XRay, TFS, Qtest or Browser Stack
  • Able to think critically to work through various technical issues with the team as required
  • Hands-on experience with issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Any knowledge of Automation Testing using Selenium (Python or Javascript) is a PLUS
