The Intelligence Support Specialist provides the Army Future’s Command (AFC) organizations at Fort Eustis, VA; Fort Leavenworth, KS; White Sands Missile Range, NM; Pittsburgh, PA; Fort Sill, OK; Detroit Arsenal, MI; Redstone Arsenal, AL; Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD; Fort Benning, GA; Natick, MA Picatinny Arsenal, NJ; Raleigh, NC; and Orlando, FL general intelligence support and training for the local organization and coordinating with the Intelligence Security SMEs at HQ AFC.
Apply intelligence analytic skills to research, identify, assess, design, and report on highly complex technical and operational military capabilities, key military leadership, military policies, plans, strategies, intentions, and their impact on force developments specific to their assigned Command’s portfolio
Present the results of analytic support and related meetings through documented intelligence assessments, briefings, AAR/EXSUM, databasing, and as part of the monthly status report
Research, analyze, interpret, evaluate, and integrate extremely complex all-source intelligence data pertaining to order of battle, force structure, strategic and conventional military capabilities and key military leadership.
Coordinate support to planned and ongoing CPI assessments, critical functions assessments, vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and countermeasures determinations
Advise Science and Technologies (S&T) and Testing and Evaluation (T&E) communities regarding threat capabilities for modeling. Research future adversary capabilities to drive next generation material solutions
Assist in conducting briefings and debriefings of Research Development and Acquisition technology Subject Matter Experts (SME) which support various AFC projects, programs, and initiatives in secure work facilities
Conduct all-source threat intelligence analytic assessments, which will address foreign comparative analysis and the impacts on Army technologies and programs
Required
Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, Engineering, Computer Science, Political Science, Criminal Justice, Security Studies or related field or completion of formal military/DoD intelligence training with six (6) years’ experience
OR eleven (11) years with military/DoD training within the intelligence or security areas as outlined in the general duties/experience
Broad knowledge and experience in multiple security disciplines (Personnel, Information, Physical, Industrial, classification management and Operations security) to develop, enforce, analyze and interpret security policies under the guidance and direction of AFC HQs Command Security Manager and Special Security Officer
Understand all related policies, programs and procedures for DoD Security Tasks related to Industrial, Personnel, Information, and Physical Security disciplines
Experience and be capable of executive level oral and written communication. Familiar with IC standards of analysis and production
