Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Remote (East Coast hours)

Compensation Expectation: $75-80-/ hour

The Role of Project Manager

The Business Analyst will take ownership from project inception, through analysis & design, supporting Development, QA, UAT and post deployment activities. The Business Analyst should be comfortable working through ambiguity within a flexible development lifecycle.

• The BA will gather, analyze, and prioritize requests by collaborating with business and technical teams.
• Document current and future processes and technical workflows.
• Document requirements through user stories, integration documentation, notification requirements, reporting requirements and use cases.
• Operate across a variety of business functions.
• Manage workload across multiple concurrent projects, programs, products.
• Participate and lead RFP processes.
• Evaluate existing business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and supporting the developing and implementing of solutions.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, user interviews and workshops to elicit end-user requirements.
• Verify complex requirements are well defined, executable, testable and complete.
• Participate and support the QA and UAT.

Knowledge & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with Technology projects is a must.
• Prior experience within Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to support network-related initiatives, including Azure cloud migration and vulnerability remediation projects
• Conduct gap analysis and data mapping across backend systems to support system upgrades, integrations, and compliance initiatives
• Create detailed process flows, technical documentation, and system architecture diagrams using Visio and other modeling tools
• Experience using standard BA tools & technologies including Microsoft Office, Visio and DevOps.
• Ability to self-manage workload across multiple concurrent projects.
• Ability to effectively communicate and present information.
• Experience interacting with all levels of internal and external stakeholders and vendors.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or similar field.
