OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a proactive and strategic IT Manager to lead and transform our technology operations. This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the CEO, where you’ll be responsible for managing outsourced services, standardizing IT processes, and ensuring system reliability and security.

WHAT YOU WILL DO FOR THE COMPANY/TEAM:

  • Lead and own relationships with all external IT partners, including MSPs, cloud vendors, and technology providers, ensuring alignment with business goals and service-level expectations.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of centralized IT documentation and standardized operating procedures.
  • Partner with executive leadership to assess current-state IT operations, identify process and system inefficiencies, and lead the rollout of scalable, standardized solutions to support company growth.
  • Manage infrastructure (networks, firewalls, servers, cloud environments, AD) to ensure uptime and performance.
  • Oversee all security measures and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Administer user permissions, accounts, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain and manage policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network resource administration and appropriate use.
  • Research when necessary new products, and/or research fixes for current ones.Test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining the network infrastructure.
  • Administer user permissions, accounts, and service level agreements (SLAs).Lead and develop internal IT staff (if applicable), including scheduling, timecards, and performance. Partner with leadership to align IT strategy with business goals.

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

• Proven ability to create, implement, and maintain structured IT documentation and standardized processes in evolving or decentralized environments.

• Strong understanding of enterprise LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, and related networking components (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.). Experience with remote connectivity and secure access solutions (VPN, SSL/IPSec).

• Strong hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS, including hybrid infrastructure environments.

• Experience supporting cloud-based applications, server migrations, and cloud security protocols.

• Conversant in programming languages such as .NET, SQL, PHP and scripting languages. Possess an understanding of system flow charts, data processing logic, and telecom fundamentals.

• Effective in both collaborative team settings and independent work

• High personal accountability and professional work ethic


WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• 5+ years in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.

• Strong vendor and partner management experience

• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and frameworks.

• Ability to develop structure in decentralized or fast-growing environments.

• Proven ability to lead change and establish best practices.
