Responsibilities

  • Design and develop category-defining products
  • Combine usability, aesthetics, and technical insight to solve complex design problems
  • Navigate cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative environment
  • Conceive elegant, effective ways to address ergonomic and mechanical challenges
  • Contribute concepts and problem solving across one or more projects
  • Travel internationally to support manufacturing

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in industrial design or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a professional designer
    • experience developing consumer electronics or wearable tech products a plus
  • Excellent communication & visualization skills
    • Working knowledge of Keyshot, VRay or other high-end digital rendering package, Photoshop, Illustrator, Google Slides
  • Fluid command of surfacing in Rhino 3D, SolidWorks, Creo or NX
  • Ability to explore and refine ideas through 2D visualization and physical prototyping
  • Expertise in designing for mass production
  • Excel in navigating highly ambiguous situations
