ROLE: Implementation Consultant - Data Management
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Implementation Consultant – Data Management works with clients to improve their design data processes and workflows throughout the enterprise, providing business services such as process improvement (PDM/PLM), data integration, design automation and overall consulting services. Specializing in Autodesk® and other best-in-class technologies, this role provides clients with immediate time to value
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Data Management consulting and implementation expertise for our top manufacturing clients across the US.
Pre-Sales Activities
Customer technology consultation to assess current business process and requirements.
Collaboration with sales team to recommend appropriate technology solution.
Development of technical content to support sales, marketing and implementation efforts.
Technical Services
Working primarily with Autodesk manufacturing technologies e.g. Inventor
Deliver application training to our customer and industry-related technical presentations at seminars, conferences, user groups, both onsite and remotely.
Provide implementation solutions and application support.
Perform additional duties as requested or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
3+ years of using data management in engineering
Technical support (helpdesk) experience is preferred
Classroom instructor experience is helpful · Experience with administration duties in the areas of CAD and product data management (PDM
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Working knowledge of Windows environment and Microsoft Office products
Ability to learn software rapidly
Passion for technology
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Pro-active/self-motivated
Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team
LOCATION & TERRITORY:
Territory will cover clients across the U.S.
Willingness to travel overnight, estimated less than 10%.
