Regional Vice President of Operations, Home Healthcare

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Must live in the Chicago, IL area, but covers 5 states and 6 branch locations. 80% travel within the region and overnights.

Healthcare Recruiters International is recruiting for a high-growth, multi-site home health organization seeking a Regional VP of Operations to lead day-to-day operations across a multi-state region. This RVP of Operations will own regional performance—quality, compliance, growth, and P&L—while developing leaders and scaling processes.

RVP of Operations, Home Healthcare Qualifications:

  • 10–15 years of multi-site management; 7–10 years in healthcare (home health/post-acute or related) across large geographies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care Administration, Nursing, or equivalent experience.
  • Deep Medicare/Medicaid expertise; advanced financial and analytical capability.
  • Executive-ready communication; ability to influence without formal authority.
  • High-energy operator who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment.
  • Willing and able to travel 80% overnight; valid driver’s license.


RVP of Operations, Home Healthcare Responsibilities:

  • Own the P&L: Set and manage operating/revenue budgets; analyze performance and drive corrective actions.
  • Elevate operations: Standardize processes, translate data into action, and remove barriers across support functions.
  • Lead leaders: Coach and develop VP/GMs, RDOs, and branch leadership; build a strong succession pipeline.
  • Ensure compliance: Maintain audit readiness and adherence to CMS Conditions of Participation and state DoH requirements.
  • Grow the business: Partner with Clinical and Sales to expand market share, launch new programs, and evaluate new markets.
  • Integrate acquisitions: Support post-close operational integration and culture alignment.

RVP OF OPERATIONS, HOME HEALTHCARE COMPENSATION:

  • Salary: $150K TO $200k plus bonus
