ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly motivated, result driven and creative team member to serve as our Global Marketing Director. This person will be responsible for leading the development and execution of brand campaigns and GTM product launch strategies that drive awareness and growth. You’ll shape our voice in the market, bring big ideas to life across various media touchpoints, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure our brand shows up with consistency, innovation, and intention. The ideal candidate is passionate about being a part of a growing beauty brand, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role will report to our Global VP of Marketing.


WHAT YOU’LL DO


GTM & Integrated Marketing


  • Lead the development of global GTM strategy and develop 360 marketing toolkits for new product launches, cultural moments and seasonal themes
  • Serve as a guardian of brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all platforms
  • Partner with cross functional teams to ensure marketing strategies are executed across all touch points
  • Translate brand strategy into compelling creative briefs and guide the development of assets that resonate across all touchpoints
  • Own the brand marketing calendar and drive alignment across DTC, social, influencer, and retail teams
  • Manage execution of brand events and activations
  • Lead the creation of compelling, creative and sales-worthy marketing decks for retailer meetings


Research & Insights


  • Leverage internal and external data (consumer research, social listening, CRM, and industry trends) to inform brand strategy & innovation
  • Conduct competitive analyses and track market shifts to identify white-space opportunities and business potential
  • Drive consumer-first storytelling by integrating insights into product messaging and marketing activations
  • Serve as the subject matter expert that stays up-to-date on trends, suggesting new ways to innovate and enhance our approach, while upskilling the team on best practices


Financial & Business Management


  • Lead portfolio management, SKU productivity, and rationalization efforts in collaboration with Sales, Finance and PD
  • Seek out profitable growth opportunities in new product, promo and partnership investments
  • Maintain budget spend tracker with precision and detail
  • Analyze pricing strategy to ensure price positioning competitiveness


International Partnership


  • Act as liaison between the global marketing team and international retailers to ensure toolkits are localized and deliverables meet markets’ needs
  • Stay abreast of international beauty trends and needs to inform innovation and GTM strategies


Leadership

  • Mentor and develop high performing brand coordinator
  • Inspire team with a consumer-centric, results-driven mindset


WHAT YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Beauty experience required, Makeup preferred
  • 7+ years of experience working in Brand Marketing
  • Must have experience working with international markets (LATAM, EMEA, APAC)
  • Passion for International markets, including consumer behavior, market dynamics and digital landscape
  • Open to domestic and international travel
  • Preferably based in NYC
  • Start-up experience in a similar role at a consumer brand preferred
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into action
  • Creative thinker, able to generate big ideas
  • Avid multitasker
