We’re looking for a Freelance Social Media Producer to create vertical videos and graphics, post content, and grow channels for Welcome To The Party - a brand-new women’s sports podcast hosted by Abby Wambach and Julie Foudy. Smart, joyful, and high-energy, the show celebrates the power and community of women’s sports with two episodes each week (Tuesdays and Thursdays), featuring the legendary Billie Jean King as a regular contributor.
In addition to owning social media for Welcome To The Party, we’re looking for social media clipping support on We Can Do Hard Things, the award-winning, chart-topping podcast hosted by Glennon Doyle, Abby Wambach, and Amanda Doyle.
Roles & Responsibilities
For Both Shows:
Create Social Media Clips
Cut 3 clips per episode (~12 total per week) for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
Work from raw Riverside files, collaborating with producers to select the strongest moments
Edit with platform best practices in mind
Add graphics, headlines, music, and quote cards (if needed)
Maintain organized project files and consistent naming conventions to streamline workflows
Create YouTube Thumbnails
Produce 4 thumbnails per week (2 per show) using established templates and brand guidelines
Refresh layouts with variation (color, imagery) to maintain a consistent but dynamic look
For Welcome To The Party:
Own the Posting Process
Write engaging, brand-aligned social copy with tags, hashtags, and calls-to-action
Manage the social calendar and posting schedules, ensuring timely rollouts aligned with episode drops
Track post performance, adjusting frequency, format, and packaging based on what works
Engage with Audience
Foster a positive, inclusive community by responding to priority comments and messages across platforms
Requirements
3+ years creating content for social media for talent-driven brands, podcasts, or entertainment properties
Expert in social video editing (Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut)

Deep social media fluency. You understand what works on TikTok, Instagram, and Shorts - and how to package content for discovery and engagement.
