The Common Market is excited to announce an opening for a Farm to Fork Operations Manager for our Food Hub! In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire process of sourcing, transporting, and distributing local food products from farmers directly to our community partners. This includes schools, hospitals, and local organizations, ensuring that fresh and nutritious food is accessible to all.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the Food Hub, including order processing, inventory management, and logistics coordination
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local farmers and food producers to strengthen the supply chain
Implement effective systems for tracking and reporting inventory and sales
Coordinate transportation of food products to ensure timely and safe deliveries
Oversee quality control processes, ensuring that all products meet safety and quality standards
Collaborate with our team to create educational programming that raises awareness about local food systems and healthy eating
Monitor operational performance and implement improvements for efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences, Business Management, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in food distribution or agricultural operations
Strong understanding of farm-to-table logistics and supply chain management
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize operations
Commitment to sustainability and local food systems
Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends, to meet operational needs
