Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Construction Estimator to join our team in Lehi, UT. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of civil construction estimating experience, with a strong background focused on Heavy Civil construction including mass excavation, earthwork, grading, wet & dry utility installation in both private and public sectors. This position requires expertise in digital takeoff and estimating tools, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage relationships with both clients and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects (sitework, grading, utilities, earthwork).
• Perform digital quantity takeoffs using industry-standard software.
• Analyze drawings, specs, and project documents to determine accurate scopes of work.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Support project handoff to operations with documentation and estimating breakdowns.
• Maintain and organize historical cost data, unit pricing, and vendor databases.
