Electrical Component Technician (Probe Station) Materials Lab, San Diego


  • 3+ years of expertise in manual operation of probe stations (VNA/PNA), resonators, impedance analyzers, and electronic components
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, calibration, experimental setup, fixture design, equipment operation, and documentation
  • Conduct material characterization, analyze results, and communicate findings effectively with the team
  • Experience with polymers, dielectric materials, material characterization, and S-parameter measurements
  • Proficient in data analysis and troubleshooting across various lab equipment and systems
  • Perform lab work involving PCB, FPC, components, and circuit boards from both material and process perspectives
  • Ensure full lab capability, equipment readiness, and operational efficiency
  • Assist engineers with installation, integration, and ramp-up of new lab systems


Type: 6 month contract with high likelihood of extension

Location: San Diego, CA

Pay Rate Range: $45-$70/HR (DOE)
