Driver

Catholic Social Services (CSS) helps senior citizens and veterans in Licking County maintain their independence by providing free transportation to non-emergency medical appointments.

Location: 1031 Brice St Newark, OH 43055

Positions available: Part time (2) and Full time (1)

Key Responsibilities

• Transport clients to medical or hospital appointments including assisting clients to and from the vehicle, as needed.
• Maintain necessary training, development, and/or licensing standards as required.
• Provide to office staff:
• Report on client needs and conditions
• Keep daily log of client transport & mileage
• Prepare reports on client needs and conditions and maintain daily log of client transport.
• Vehicle fleet: ensure vehicles are clean, measuring and documenting wheelchair size for correct vehicle usage, ensuring paperwork is signed correctly by the client.
  

Experience

• High school or equivalent
• Two (2) years of driving experience.
• Knowledge of community resources and entitlement programs.
  
  

License

• Valid State of Ohio driver’s license
• No points on driving record
  
  

Prescreening requirements

• Pass BCI/FBI background check
• No OMVI
• Pass drug and alcohol screening
