Compensation

Our compensation is aligned with labor costs across various U.S. geographic regions. The base salary for this position ranges from $160,000 up to $180,000 annually. Actual pay is based on several factors, including the specific location, as well as relevant skills, experience, and job-related expertise. Depending on the position, target bonuses and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits

Position Summary:


The Director of Sales, Food Service will lead sales strategy and execution for Bonduelle Americas across all foodservice channels. This role is a key member of the leadership team and is responsible for driving profitable topline growth in alignment with company operating targets.

The Director will own customer-specific revenue, margin, and profitability goals, while expanding product distribution and placement across existing and new accounts. This leader will also play a critical role in strengthening customer partnerships, accelerating innovation, and supporting Bonduelle’s sustainability and B Corp commitments.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute customer and account strategies to achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Lead business development with existing and target accounts to drive profitable growth.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate customer initiatives internally, leveraging cross-functional expertise to deliver results.
  • Oversee customer projects, pricing negotiations, and new product presentations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, finance, and other functions to ensure alignment.
  • Manage broker networks where applicable.
  • Recruit, train, and coach Brand Ambassadors to maximize field execution.
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends, sharing insights to inform strategy.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, incorporating business trends, new opportunities, and promotional activities.
  • Support corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives in line with Bonduelle’s 2025 B Corp goals.


Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • QSR (Quick-Service Restaurant) experience is a must-have — ideally with Domino’s or another major national QSR chain.
  • Produce industry experience is a strong plus but not mandatory.
  • 5–10 years of progressive sales experience, with proven success managing large regional or national foodservice accounts.
  • Seniority and commercial skillset aligned with peers at the Director level (e.g., comparable to Zach’s level of expertise and leadership).
  • Based in the U.S., with strong commercial acumen and the ability to navigate complex, multi-layered national accounts.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain executive-level customer relationships.
  • Strong leadership, team development, and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and presentation — across diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiation, decision-making, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, identify opportunities, and develop actionable sales plans.
  • Entrepreneurial, “outside-the-box” mindset with strong business acumen.
  • Results-driven, competitive, and motivated by success.
  • Willingness to travel 60%+ as required.
