Position Title: Director of Sales, Canada

Location: Remote – Canada

Reports To: EVP of Sales, Westfield Outdoors


Note - must be current resident of and living in Canada.


Position Summary

Westfield Outdoors is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Director of Sales, Canada to lead our Canadian retail business. This individual will be responsible for managing key national and regional accounts directly, while also overseeing a network of outside sales representatives across Canada. The role requires strong expertise in OEM, Private Label, and Branded consumer goods within the outdoor sporting goods industry.


The Director will serve as the primary link between Canadian customers, our Indianapolis headquarters, and our global supply chain, including manufacturing partners in China and Southeast Asia. This is a high-impact role for a sales leader who can drive growth, build strong retailer relationships, and deliver results in a competitive marketplace.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all Canadian retail accounts, including both national chains and regional retailers.
  • Oversee and develop outside sales representatives across Canada, ensuring alignment with company goals and sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Canadian buyers and key retail partners.
  • Drive achievement of sales budgets, financial targets, and annual business planning goals.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies, line planning, and marketing initiatives tailored to Canadian accounts.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Canadian customers, U.S. headquarters, and manufacturing partners in China and Southeast Asia.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to support product development and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Represent Westfield Outdoors at key trade shows and industry events.


Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven track record of managing national and regional retail accounts in Canada.
  • Strong experience with Direct Import and Private Label programs, with an understanding of OEM and branded business models.
  • Demonstrated success in sales leadership, achieving revenue targets, and driving growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures.
  • Experience leading and managing outside sales representatives.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business priorities into actionable results.
  • International business acumen and comfort working with global teams and manufacturing partners.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally and domestically as required.


Travel Requirements

  • China and Southeast Asia: 2–3 times per year
  • Indianapolis, IN (Headquarters): 2 times per year
  • Trade Shows: 2–3 in US annually


Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation will be structured as a competitive contract arrangement commensurate with experience.
