Are you an experienced accountant and operations leader who loves building strong teams and efficient operations? At ProfitLine, we do more than manage books - we help small businesses and nonprofits gain clarity, stability, and peace of mind so they can focus on what matters most. We’re growing, and we’re looking for a Director of Operations, with a strong accounting background, to join our leadership team. In this role, you’ll help us run smarter, support our people, and shape the next chapter of our firm.
As part of our small, collaborative team, you’ll have a direct hand in mentoring staff, improving systems, and influencing how we work. You’ll be trusted to bring both your accounting expertise and operations leadership to make an immediate impact, with plenty of room to grow as our firm evolves.
About ProfitLine
ProfitLine is a next-generation cloud-based accounting firm built for small businesses and nonprofits. We serve clients across tech, marketing, e-commerce, manufacturing, and beyond, providing customized accounting departments that combine hands-on accounting services with financial management best practices.
We believe managers make better decisions when their organizations’ books are in great shape and their financial processes are strong. That’s why we work hard to bring security, clarity, and calm to our clients, their teams, and their customers.
We value collaboration, balance, and meaningful relationships, both with our clients and with each other, and we believe work should be purposeful and enjoyable.

You’ll need to be equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to review and deliver accounting work, coaching and mentoring your team, and working with leadership to improve how the entire firm operates. It’s a unique opportunity to grow into a full Director of Operations role as the company continues to expand.
