Director of Operations

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to join our client's progressive, privately-owned veterinary practice. This role will work closely with the CEO/Owner, hospital coordinator, and department leads to ensure smooth daily operations and drive growth and efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day hospital operations and workflow efficiency
• Manage and support staff, schedules, and resources
• Evaluate and manage inventory, ordering, and cost control
• Analyze current processes and implement operational improvements
• Develop budgets, monitor financial performance, and drive profitability
• Collaborate on marketing initiatives and hospital development, if interested
• Supervise facilities, grounds, and weekend operations as needed
• Provide occasional staff coverage when necessary

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; CVPM certification preferred
• 5+ years of leadership experience, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting
• Strong organizational, financial, and team management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
