Clinical Data Analyst II

We are looking for a Clinical Data Analyst for a top beauty company in NYC!

Responsibilities:

• Structure of team – HM is in product development and clinical research – this role is for the clinical research branch of the team
• Discussing new products and launches from the concept the positioning – this includes determining what kind of product this will be (anti aging, suncare, brightening, etc)
• Clinical arm looks at the new product and determines whether the claim is supported by scientific evidence the benefits it claims and designs the study for the clinical research partners– who is the demographic to prove the claims, what demographic should be included in the study, what is the study that needs to be put into place to prove claims before launch date
• Design and crafting protocols
• Working with external research partners to drive the study
• Presenting findings to clinical and nonclinical teams to support or decline terms of the potential launch – If research supports claims, presentation is taken over by marketing to design and launch the campaign
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience or more would be ideal but there could be some wiggle room since there is room for growth
• Beauty, personal care or pharma
• Scientific background
• Clinical monitoring and research
• Read literature, scout for information and refine the design and proof of concept – a plus but not mandatory
• Collaborative, managing ongoing feedback
• Willingness and eagerness to learn and pivot – will bounce between antiaging, suncare, and different areas of skincare
• Innovative approach – looks for alternative ways to improve and optimize
