This full-time, on-site position plays a critical role in our preconstruction process-responsible for compiling accurate estimates and proposals for commercial and hospitality projects. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and detailed estimates and proposals for commercial and hospitality construction projects
• Conduct project turnover meetings with the project management team following contract awards
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and proposals to understand project requirements
• Visit job sites to support estimate accuracy when necessary
• Forecast labor, material, and time requirements for each project
• Conduct risk assessments and cost-benefit analysis
• Review subcontractor and vendor bids for scope coverage and accuracy
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors
• Prepare and maintain supplier/subcontractor directories
• Present cost estimates and expenditure reports to upper management
• Coordinate multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines
• Generate clear, concise bid documentation and proposal packages
  
  

Qualifications

• 2 years of professional estimating experience in construction preferred
• Bachelor's Degree preferred (Construction Management, Engineering, or related field)
• Experience using PlanSwift, ConstructConnect, or similar takeoff and estimating software
• Proficiency in Google Suite
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical construction drawings and documents
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Experience preparing detailed reports and presentations
