Convertible & Equity Derivatives Advisory Vice President

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to fill a Vice President position on its Convertible & Equity Derivatives Advisory team. This client-facing role will work closely with both senior and junior level team members in providing advisory services for companies pursuing the full range of equity-linked capital raising alternatives.


Responsibilities include:

  • Origination, structuring, and execution on convertible and equity derivative transactions including convertible securities, call spreads / capped calls, and share repurchases
  • Advise clients on optimal capital structure solutions, integrating convertible securities and equity derivatives to address financing, risk management, and strategic objectives
  • Valuation of both new and existing equity-linked securities
  • Preparation of new business presentations and marketing materials
  • Evaluation of potential future candidates for equity-linked transactions
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive activity in the convertibles and equity derivatives space to inform client strategies and product innovation
  • Lead the junior team in maintenance of multiple databases
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering technical expertise and best practices in convertible and equity-linked product execution

Job Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of convertible experience (preference for those with equity derivatives experience as well)
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to perform financial and corporate valuation analysis
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
  • Highly resourceful with ability to work both independently and on a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree
