Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage underwriting activities for contract surety across the Western region.

• Assess, approve, and monitor complex surety bond submissions while ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents, brokers, and key stakeholders.

• Provide leadership and mentoring to underwriters, fostering professional growth and consistent performance.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement regional growth strategies.

• Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments.

Key Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in contract surety underwriting, including leadership or management roles.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

• In-depth understanding of the surety market and underwriting principles.

• Proven ability to lead teams and drive business results.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
