As a Controls Systems Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and implementing robust control architectures for advanced hydrogen-based systems, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary group of engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement control system architectures integrating PLCs, third-party control systems, and cloud-based services.
Develop, test, and deploy PLC control logic using TIA Portal for Siemens PLCs.
Create and simulate dynamic control models in MATLAB/Simulink, generating production-ready code for PLC integration.
Document control logic, interfaces, and system behaviors for long-term maintainability and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
Experience developing control system architectures for industrial, energy, or advanced manufacturing systems.
Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for modeling, simulation, and code generation.
Hands-on experience with TIA Portal, Siemens S7-1500, ladder logic, and structured text programming.
Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, or PROFINET.
Ability to work independently, managing deliverables under tight timelines.
