We’re looking for a hands-on leader to drive continuous improvement and platform migration initiatives within a highly collaborative health plan organization. This role requires a strong background in Lean Six Sigma, health plan/payer operations, and platform/system migration work.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a Business Process Engineering team with a focus on Lean Six Sigma maturity and performance improvement.
Drive platform migration projects, including transitions to HealthRules and other modern systems.
Collaborate with business and technology teams to design and implement future-state processes.
Roll up your sleeves to actively drive and deliver results. This is not a coaching-only role.
Required Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (7+ years of applied experience).
7+ years of recent business process and performance improvement experience within the health insurance/health plan space.
Proven leadership ability across large cross-functional teams.
Experience with platform/system migration projects.
Strong skills in process design, future-state definition, and operational execution.
Tools: Microsoft Teams, Visio, Smartsheet, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing and mentoring Business Process Consultants.
Familiarity with HealthRules, Cosmos, or similar platforms.
Mastery of Lean Six Sigma tools (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, A3, Kanban, FMEA, etc.).
Change management and Agile methodology experience.
Compensation & Work Arrangement
Hourly Rate: $70–90/hour (depending on experience).
Conversion Eligibility: After 1,040 hours (about 6 months).
Permanent Salary Range: $123,000–$158,000 plus 10% bonus.
