Member of global payroll and benefits department (Corporate Human Resources) based in NY/NJ. Work closely with HRIS, payroll and HR Business Partners.
Responsibilities include:
Assist in administration of US health and welfare programs including health insurance, life insurance, accident insurance, short and long-term disability, leave, and worker’s compensation
Assist in US wellness program for employees including organization of annual flu shots and numerous health and fitness programs offered throughout the year
Assistance with day-to-day administration of the Benefits function
First point of contact for general/ad hoc queries for the team. Managing multiple inboxes.
Conduct New Hire Benefits Orientation
Coordinates HRIS data entry including Qualifying Events, COBRA administration, Open Enrollment, etc.
Respond to emails in shared Benefit mailbox and phone inquiries
Prepares reports for management and ad hoc projects as needed
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Workers Compensation, Medicare, Social Security and DOL requirements
Knowledge of Oracle Cloud (HCM)
Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Windows applications
Ability to work within a metrics-driven, transactional type environment
Good oral and written communication
Experience Required:
Minimum 2 years of experience in-house administration
Minimum 2 years of experience in health plan administration
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field from accredited four-year university required
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $70,000 - $75,000.

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
