About Us

We are a well-established and growing precious metals wholesaler with multi-entity operations

across Colorado, New York, and additional locations. With approximately 100 employees and a

reputation for integrity and innovation, we are a recognized leader in the industry, operating at the

center of the gold bullion market.

As we expand into new business lines, we are investing heavily in technology, automation, and

data-driven finance. Our strength lies in combining the stability of an established business with

the energy of a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. For the right leader, this is a rare

opportunity to join a company that is both rooted in a legacy-rich industry and actively shaping the future of precious metals.

The Vice President of Accounting & Finance will be a senior leader and hands-on builder

responsible for driving the financial operations, controls, and strategy of our business. Reporting

directly to the CEO, this role blends corporate discipline with entrepreneurial drive. You’ll

oversee accounting, treasury operations, compliance, and reporting while building scalable

systems and processes that eliminate manual touchpoints and deliver measurable ROI.

This is not a maintenance role — it’s a builder-operator position where you’ll roll up your

sleeves to design, implement, and optimize the frameworks, dashboards, and accountability

systems that ensure financial health, capital efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Automation,

AI, and process improvement are foundational to your success.

More importantly, this is not just another accounting and finance job — it’s a rare, career-

defining opportunity to join a unique, industry-leading company at the center of the global gold

market. You’ll have a direct hand in shaping how a modern accounting and finance organization

operates in one of the world’s most valuable and enduring industries, combining accounting,

finance, technology, and team leadership in a role that is both entrepreneurial and high

impact. We offer competitive compensation, a collaborative culture, and the chance to be part of

something truly transformative in the world of precious metals.

What You’ll Do

 Improve Accounting Processes – This is a newly created position in the organization.

While it is a senior executive-level role, it will also be very hands-on in the design,

development, implementation, and ongoing fulfillment of the many responsibilities outlined.

The initial focus of the role will be to review, streamline, and improve the current accounting,

monthly closing, and financial reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate financial

results.

 Lead Strategic Finance – Drive the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and long-term planning

process, ensuring financial strategies align with company growth goals.

 Build Scalable Systems – Design and implement automation-first processes, dashboards,

and reporting frameworks that replace manual work with technology, ensuring scalability

without proportional growth in headcount.

 Treasury & Liquidity Management – Oversee daily cash flow, margin management, and

liquidity planning, providing clear visibility into working capital and covenant compliance.

 Hedging Accountability – Collaborate with the trading team to develop auditable systems

that reconcile hedges, margin balances, and physical inventory, ensuring accuracy and risk

control.

 Inventory Optimization – Monitor turnover, valuation, and carrying costs while building

financial models that connect inventory strategies to profitability and cash flow.

 Compliance & Risk Oversight – Strengthen AML programs, manage multi-state sales tax

reporting, and ensure audit readiness with robust, technology-enabled controls.

Performance Reporting – Deliver timely insights through executive dashboards, variance

analyses, and KPI tracking, turning data into actionable recommendations.

 Cross-Functional Partnering – Work closely with trading, operations, and logistics teams to

align financial systems with business needs, ensuring finance supports—not slows—growth.

 Vendor & Procurement Oversight – Implement cost controls and vendor financing

strategies that maximize working capital efficiency.

 Leadership & Team Development – Recruit, coach, and scale a high-performing accounting

and finance team, instilling accountability, integrity, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Who You Are

 Hands-on – You review current processes, identify issues & bottlenecks, and roll up your

sleeves to collaborate with your team to implement fast, streamlined solutions.

 Builder-Operator DNA – You thrive on creating scalable systems and processes, not just

maintaining them.

 Technology-First Thinker – You embrace automation and AI to make processes better,

faster, and cheaper — with ROI as your guide.

 Vision-Aligned Leader – You partner with the CEO to execute the company’s vision,

bringing strong leadership with humility and a collaborative approach.

 Team Builder at Heart – You love building and scaling highly functional teams in a fast-

paced, accountable culture.

 Commercially Grounded – You connect numbers to real-world business outcomes.

 Risk-Smart – You understand volatility and build systems that enable informed, controlled

risk-taking.

 Clear Communicator – You simplify complex concepts, influence with data-driven insights,

and coach with clarity.

 Resilient & Steady – You bring calm structure to high-pressure, fast-moving situations.

 Humble & Ethical – You lead with integrity, transparency, and a focus on collective success.

Qualifications

 10+ years of progressive finance leadership, including 5+ years in senior management.

 Multi-entity experience; commodities or trading background highly valued.

 Proven record of implementing automation and technology-driven solutions with

measurable ROI.

 Expertise in treasury, compliance (AML/sales tax), and financial reporting.

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.

 ERP expertise (NetSuite strongly preferred).

 Highly skilled in Excel and/or Google Sheets

 Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytics skills.

 Builder-operator mindset: hands-on, innovative, and execution-focused.

 Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.

 Deep commitment to accountability, integrity, and innovation.
