Role Overview

Mercor is seeking experienced visual storytelling professionals — including storyboard artists, cinematographers, animators, editors, and motion designers — to collaborate on high-impact creative projects with leading AI research groups. This work centers on shaping narrative-driven visual content with cinematic pacing, clarity, and authenticity. Your expertise will directly contribute to training frontier AI systems that can understand and generate compelling visual stories.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop storyboards, visual concepts, and narrative structures for AI training datasets
• Caption video content with attention to storytelling elements, camera techniques, and visual detail
• Evaluate and refine AI-generated visual narratives for accuracy, coherence, and quality
• Ensure outputs meet standards of authenticity and cinematic craftsmanship

Ideal Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in film, animation, motion design, or related creative fields
• A strong portfolio demonstrating mastery of storytelling, pacing, and cinematic techniques
• Proven ability to distill abstract ideas into clear, engaging visual narratives
• Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills

Opportunity Details

• Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous — flexible working hours
