Their mission is to freeze the aging process and empower individuals to achieve radiant, youthful skin through our innovative products. Their developmental pipeline, guided by cellular science and industry expertise, aims to create an evolution in beauty standards The client is seeking a highly motivated and visionary VP of Operations (fulltime role) to oversee the end-to-end operations and drive continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the President, the VP of Operations will play a critical role in scaling our biocosmetics and regenerative medicine business, optimizing operations and leading our team to operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the President to develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
- Partner with the President on operations planning, including sales forecasts and scaling up operations from B2B business operations to B2B plus B2C operations.
- Manage the operations budget, conduct cost analysis, and provide strategic forecasts.
- Build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and compliance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Quality, CMC and Regulatory to align on company goals as well as compliance in rules and regulations as they relate to biocosmetics products and regenerative medicine.
- Develop and maintain practitioner, customer, supplier, vendor, and partner relationships to strengthen revenue and supply chain reliability.
- Monitor KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement to reduce inefficiencies.
- Represent the company externally, including networking within the biocosmetics, longevity and regenerative space.
- Assess and optimize operational processes, including order fulfillment and customer experience.
- Oversee sales operations and commission reports
- Develop and implement strategies for client and KOL acquisition and retention.
- Manage and oversee the referral and affiliate programs and relationships
- Oversee the design and execution of sales training programs.
- Uphold and enhance the brand’s identity and values across all initiatives, ensuring alignment with larger company goals.
- Oversee trade shows and events, marketing materials, collateral, and partnerships.
- Oversee the digital marketing efforts, including SEO, PPC, email campaigns, and social media.
- Oversee branding consistency and content creation across all channels.
- Oversee the marketing team efforts in alignment with sales and operations goals
Ideal Candidate
- 10 + years of proven experience in operations in biotech or pharma, including areas in biocosmetics, regenerative medicine or longevity using stem cells and exosomes is required.
- Demonstrated success in scaling operations both in B2B and B2C businesses, optimizing processes, and leading a growing team.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations and biocosmetics rules and regulations
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong industry network and credibility within biopharma, particularly in the biocosmetics space
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- Spanish speaker is a plus
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- BS degree in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related degree preferred.
