We are looking for a Vice President of Sales for our client in the wholesale luxury home furnishings and accessories industry. The perfect candidate is a Vice President of Sales who can balance strategy with storytelling. They are an individual who not only knows how to analyze data and craft sales plans, but who can also inspire a team to bring the brand to life in showrooms, trade shows, and client meetings.


This role is hybrid, based in the Los Angeles metro area. There will be frequent travel to showrooms, accounts, and with sales representatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute a national sales strategy that drives growth across stocking and non-stocking dealers, interior designers, specialty retailers, and e-commerce partners.
  • Design programs and initiatives that increase order frequency, expand designer engagement, and broaden customer reach.
  • Lead the implementation of a modern CRM system; use insights to identify opportunities, set targets, and improve efficiency.
  • Set and manage budgets for travel, trade shows, and sales initiatives.
  • Develop communication strategies to keep customers informed about tariffs, supply chain shifts, and industry changes.
  • Create a culture of collaboration, creativity, and brand advocacy—energizing both customers and the sales team.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with top interior designers, luxury retailers, and e-commerce accounts.
  • Partner with marketing to create unforgettable showroom and tradeshow experiences that capture the artistry of the brand.
  • Lead the sales team through pre-show preparation, on-site execution, and post-show follow-up to maximize ROI.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of sales leadership in luxury home furnishings, décor, or adjacent industries.
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth in premium markets.
  • Established relationships with top designers, retailers, and trade partners.
  • Experience building, training, and motivating high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong analytical skills—able to pull meaning from numbers and translate it into clear direction.
  • Adept with CRM systems, reporting tools, and modern sales strategies.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills; polished, professional, and approachable.
  • Comfortable with extensive travel (trade shows, client visits, training, team development).
