We are conducting a confidential executive search for a Vice President of Sales to lead 3PL partnerships at a global logistics and transportation leader. This role is ideal for an accomplished sales executive who thrives in both strategic leadership and hands-on deal-making.
As a player-coach, you’ll shape the 3PL sales strategy, manage a small team, and drive growth through both new business acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
What You’ll Do
Define and execute a third-party logistics (3PL)-focused sales and partnership strategy.
Lead by example: manage a small team while directly engaging in complex deals.
Build and expand strategic customer relationships.
Negotiate and close multi-stakeholder agreements.
Align sales strategy with operational execution.
Deliver against ambitious revenue goals while shaping long-term growth.
What We’re Looking For
8+ years of progressively senior commercial leadership experience.
Strong background in transportation, logistics, or warehousing (3PL experience highly valued).
Proven success leading teams while selling at the executive level.
Balance of commercial acumen and operational knowledge.
Grit, resilience, and the ability to thrive in evolving, competitive markets.
