Why PsychPlus?

Our goal is to provide a digital-first, modern approach to psychiatry and therapy. We provide care both in-person at our offices across Texas and virtually so our patients can be seen at their convenience.

Through a combination of exceptional medical and psychological care and best-in-class technology, we provide an unparalleled approach that serves our patients’ needs in an integrated way. Join us in our mission to ensure that every person has access to affordable and accessible mental health care.

About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to oversee our Midwest region. This role is critical to ensuring PsychPlus continues to deliver high-quality, patient-centered behavioral healthcare while scaling operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The VP of Operations will serve as a key strategic leader, working closely with executive leadership, regional managers, and clinical teams to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and efficiency across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operational oversight for PsychPlus locations across the Midwest, ensuring alignment with company goals, patient satisfaction, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with clinical leadership to optimize workflows, improve patient outcomes, and maintain a seamless provider experience.
  • Build and mentor high-performing regional teams, including site managers and support staff.
  • Drive operational KPIs including patient access, provider utilization, quality of care, and financial performance.
  • Implement process improvements, technology adoption, and innovative strategies to support growth and scalability.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on expansion plans, including new facility openings and market launches.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations, payer requirements, and accreditation standards.
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and profitability.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven success overseeing multi-site healthcare operations, ideally in behavioral health, hospital, or outpatient settings.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, payer systems, and provider operations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving operational excellence, growth, and patient satisfaction.
  • Willingness to travel within the Midwest region as needed.

Perks

Our mentality is to find the best, attract the best, and pay the best talent—which is why we prioritize quality over quantity of hires. While we offer zero-stress medical, dental, and vision coverage, competitive salaries, and a generous PTO policy, we're way more excited to tell you about a few "perks” that are unique to Psychplus. We’ve spent time thinking through what it means to be a modern mental health company and how we can better align these additional perks with our mission and values

Additional Information

The expected base salary for this role is between $150,000 to $200,000 annually at the start of employment. Final base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors such as location and years of experience. In addition to compensation, PsychPlus Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, which may include health insurance, paid time off, retirement plan options, and other company-sponsored benefits.
