Vice President of Marketing
We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Marketing to lead strategy and execution for our client. This leader will shape brand vision, drive product adoption, and position them at the forefront of cardiology innovation. The VP of Marketing will oversee both upstream strategy (market insights, product planning) and downstream execution (launches, sales enablement, campaigns), ensuring alignment across global and U.S. commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy
Define value propositions, messaging, and positioning
Translate clinical and market insights into strategic priorities and portfolio plans.
Product & Market Development
Lead commercialization of new technologies from launch strategy to sales execution.
Partner with global and regional teams to shape product roadmaps and ensure market fit.
Conduct competitive and trend analysis to anticipate shifts in cardiology and adjacent markets.
Brand & Campaign Management
Oversee campaigns including digital, events, content marketing, and KOL engagement.
Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing organization, fostering accountability, creativity, and growth.
Work closely with Sales, Medical Affairs, R&D, and Regulatory to deliver cohesive strategies.
Drive alignment between upstream product planning and downstream sales activation.
Business & Performance Management
Manage marketing budgets, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
Define KPIs and dashboards to measure impact and ROI.
Report progress to senior leadership and adjust strategies based on results.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field (MBA preferred).
10+ years of progressive marketing experience in medical devices, biotechnology, or healthcare.
Strong background in cardiovascular or electrophysiology markets highly desirable.
Proven track record of success in both upstream (portfolio strategy, product development) and downstream (launch execution, sales enablement) marketing.
Minimum 7 years in a senior leadership role managing teams and budgets.
Expertise in digital and omnichannel marketing, with demonstrated ROI.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
