Vice President Claims
A prominent global reinsurer is seeking an experienced and strategic VP, Delegated Claims Manager to lead the oversight of independent Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) managing claims across a diverse portfolio. This role focuses on proactive claims settlement, relationship management with TPAs, and ensuring alignment with internal claims standards and regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in multi-line claims, particularly in General and Professional Liability, and possess strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic oversight of TPA claims handling, ensuring adherence to service standards, proactive loss management, and ongoing process improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with TPAs, leading performance reviews, audits, and training initiatives to uphold best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal claims, legal, and actuarial teams to monitor portfolio trends, escalate complex matters, and align on dispute resolution strategies.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of multi-line claims experience, with expertise in General Liability and Professional Liability; prior leadership or stakeholder management experience required.
