Vice President - Senior Compliance Officer (Atlanta, GA): Our client, a private equity fund that focuses on investments in middle-market firms, has a need for a strong, insightful seasoned compliance professional to join their team in a #2 capacity. This new hire will work closely with the firm's CCO to oversee the day to day compliance program. This is a strong opportunity for a mid-level compliance professional ready to take on a more strategic role, working closely with leadership to shape initiatives and elevate the compliance program.


The hiring manager is eager to welcome a proactive and strategic compliance professional who demonstrates strong initiative and a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks.

The firm is a highly regarded investment advisor with over $30 billion in assets under management and a distinguished 20+ year track record. Known for its exceptional reputation in the industry, the firm fosters a collaborative culture that emphasizes internal growth.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and submit regulatory filings, manage the firm’s compliance program, and oversee adherence to the Code of Ethics.
  • Lead key compliance initiatives in response to evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Perform ongoing compliance testing and maintain up-to-date policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and investor relations teams to prepare responses to RFPs, DDQs, and other client communications.
  • Develop risk matrices to track and communicate compliance priorities.
  • Work in partnership with external compliance consultants to conduct mock audits and implement regulatory best practices.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3–7+ years of compliance experience within an investment advisory environment (hedge fund, private equity, credit, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience with Form ADV is essential.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to a standard of excellence.
