Position Title: Vice President - Commercial Lending (C&I)

Department: Loan Department, Cedar Springs, TX

Reports To: Chief Lending Officer

Summary: Salaried, Full-Time - 40 hours

Essential Job Functions

  • Demonstrate the company's core values in all you do: Provide excellence in financial services while reinvesting in the communities we serve.
  • Manage lending personnel in the assigned area.
  • Maintain profitability through pricing of loans and controlling expenses.
  • Responsible for outside sales activities to generate referrals from Realtors/Builders.
  • Manage workflow to insure best possible efficiency for customers and co-workers.
  • Ensure all documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Complete all required training as well as ABA assigned courses.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies

  • Positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial report and/or legal documents.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients and other employees at the bank.
  • MS Office programs.
  • NMLS license

Education And Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 7-10 years of Commercial lending experience

Onsite Position

  • Seeing: Must be able to see well enough to see computer screen and read documents. (75-100% of work time spent on activity)
  • Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, vendors, and employees. (75-100% of work time spent on activity)
  • Sitting: Must be able to sit for long periods of time. (50-74% of work time spent on activity)
  • Standing/Walking: Must be able to move about office. (75-100% of work time spent on activity)
  • Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up paper products or materials. (25-49% of work time spent on activity)
  • Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds. (0-24% of work time spent on activity)
  • Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to write, type and use technical equipment. (75-100% of work time spent on activity)
