Job Summary

Reporting to Infodash’s CTO, the UI/UX Developer role will own the entire user interface workflow from concept to implementation, collaborating with the product, engineering, sales, marketing, and delivery teams to design beautiful, functional, and user-centric digital experiences and ensure pixel-perfect translations of those designs to code. Responsibilities

  • Design
    • Develop a deep understanding of users' needs and apply learnings to the overall product strategy
    • Conduct user research to develop user personas and journey maps
    • Translate legal and compliance workflows into wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity UI designs using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch for intuitive user experiences
    • Facilitate usability testing and A/B testing to validate design decisions and gather feedback from clients
    • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to iterate quickly
    • Ensure brand consistency and product differentiation, as appropriate, across multiple products
    • Maintain and evolve design systems, UI components, and style guide
    • Identify and address UX problems and propose client-focused solutions that balance functionality with simplicity

  • Development
    • Collaborate with product managers and developers to turn requirements into elegant and functional front-end code
    • Develop responsive and accessible interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React preferred)
    • Implement and maintain a consistent design system and component library
    • Ensure accessibility, performance, and cross-browser compatibility
    • Integrate front-end UI with backend APIs or services
    • Work closely with customer support to identify potential UI/UX improvement opportunities
    • Collaborate with sales and delivery team members to scope client customization requests
    • Advocate for UX best practices, accessibility standards, and user-centered design principles across the organization
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Design, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in UX/UI design and front-end development, ideally for SaaS platforms
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills and a strong sense of ownership over your work
  • Experience communicating and collaborating with external clients on full-lifecycle UX/UI design projects
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong visual design and layout skills
  • Empathy for users and design-thinking mindset
  • Understanding of design systems, accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive design
  • Proficient in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools
  • Understanding of UX principles from an implementation perspective
  • Familiarity with Git, build tools, and version control
  • Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 APIs and SharePoint design patterns, component libraries, and webparts
  • Familiarity with backend technologies or APIs
  • Knowledge of performance optimization and browser compatibility
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies

This is full-time remote position. You can work from anywhere with flexible hours but must be available to support North American clients and colleagues in multiple time zones.
