Description

Scope of Work:

Provide maximum technical support and technical training for construction and mining equipment service opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide maximum in house and external customer technical support for construction & mining equipment.
• Manager day-to-day activities of Technical Services Group
• Provide weekly reports to Director of Training and Technical Support
• Work with all CMD branches to ensure consistency of Technical Support
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Training and Technical Support
• Provide support for Diagnostic Software Installation, Function, and Licensing
• Document Technical Support on Service Pro Jobs as needed.
• Assist branches with new unit make readies for major accounts customers when required.
• Monitor and Respond Quickly to CMD Technical Support Request tickets.
  
  

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have a minimum of 4 years of previous heavy equipment diagnostic experience.
  
  

Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Must be computer literate and proficient in a Windows environment (MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, must be able to bend and twist several times a day
• Must have the ability to effectively evaluate others
• Must have advanced technical skills
• Must have basic sales skills
• Must have good presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction
• Must maintain good client relations
